Whaler Rendezvous Page
2003 Fla-Ala Whaler Roundup
Despite rainy weather, five unsinkable Boston Whalers and their waterlogged owners had a good time at the 2003 rendezvous at Hatchet Point and Pirate's Cove, near the Alabama-Florida border.

2004 Gulf Coast Rendezvous
The event in 2004 attracted a much larger crowd of people and boats, and only a few of us who lingered too long got drenched in the seemingly inescapable rain storms that came late in the day. A few days later, Hurricane Ivan hit the area hard. Marine Max, the local Boston Whaler dealership, was on hand to give test rides.

2005 Gulf Coast Rendezvous
The summer of 2005 got up on its feet with our event in June. We gathered for food, fun and fellowship on the evening of Friday, June 17, at the Biloxi area's famous Blow Fly Inn on Bernard Bayou. The next morning, we waited just long enough for one of the Gulf Coast's seasonal thunderstorms to pass over before meeting at Deer Island. Then a small fleet of Boston Whaler boats of varying vintage headed southeast into the Mississippi Sound for a rendezvous at Horn Island. Special thanks to Breath's Marine, the Boston Whaler dealership in Bay St. Louis, Miss., for giving rides on a new Verado-powered Outrage.

2006 Gulf Coast Rendezvous
July 22, 2006, brought another gathering of Boston Whaler owners to the northern Gulf Coast. We were small in number this year and as casual as can be, as we met on the beach at a happy little place called Pirate's Cove in Alabama very near the Florida line, between the bays called Wolf and Perdido.
